Pigs being pigs.

We raise our Berkshire heritage breed pigs in the wooded areas of the pasture where they are able to forage and root around as they please, expressing all of their natural tendencies. We use portable fencing to allot a portion of the pasture/woods to the piggies and move them frequently. They are able to forage for about 40% of their diet and are supplemented with a locally milled, corn-and-soy-free feed ration for the remainder of their nutrition.
